Group B August Blocks

I received my lovely block from Robyn last week - thanks, Robyn!



So unless I have misplaced one or more, I have received 7 of the 11 blocks. Unfortunately, my bookkeeping is miserable, so I'm not sure I know exactly which block was sent by whom. I think the lineup is as follows:

top row, left to right: Robyn, Charlene, Linda
middle row, left to right: Lana, Toni, Melissa
bottom row: (I can't remember! I think either Jorie or Jadie, but maybe Tamera? Help!)


Please let me know if I've botched assigning credit where credit is due (and that Stamp Out Unsewing block at the bottom), and if I've not yet received your block, no worries, I'm headed out of the country until October 8, but I would like to start assembling the quilt upon my return, if you are able to get it to me by then.

Group A - August blocks recieved help!

Hey everyone!  I have a problem.  I wrote down and took pictures of who sent me what blocks from August into a file.  I have recieved 9.  When I went back to school August 17 things got a little confused and I have lost deleted misplaced my list /pics file.  I really thought I had put them in my swap scrap book.  Please let me know which block you sent.  A couple I am sure of because of blogs/posts.  Just put row # (top to bottom)( block # right to left).  Thanks!  BTW does this forgetful thing get worse in your late forties?  Or is it just me.

Two blocks received

I opened some of my mail yesterday held during my vacation.  Among the messed up bills(why always when you go away?) I found these two lovely blocks!

**update:  Oops!  I didn't see when I took the pictures that mine and the addresses of those who sent were able to be seen on the envelopes.  I have since edited the photos and removed the old ones.  Please go here to see the redited pictures.

Group A August

I'm back from the lovely humidless Canada to the hot and ridiculously humid NC.  If you have any questions or have been waiting to send your blocks  I am home.  The internet was non existent so I spent two weeks without.  It wasn't half bad.  I wanted to stay.  Here is a pic of where I was.

Group A August fabric

I sent out my fabric today!  I will be out of town for 2.5 weeks and I may or may not have internet in the wilds of Canada so sorry if someone needs to ask me a question.  I thought I would restate my wishes here just in case.  I would like you to use some of all the fabrics sent.  The white is NOT necessarily the background fabric.  You can use the fabrics anyway you want as long as there is at least one wonky star somewhere in the block.  You can do one large one, multiple small ones, use a wacky layout, applique a sunbonnett sue holding one.  Whatever floats your boat.  Keep the scraps I have plenty of the fabric leftover.  BTW I am sending out DS Quilts I have been collecting.  I cant wait to have a quilt from this line. 

If you need to add a small piece of fabric from your stash you may if needed to create you idea.  But I would prefer you to stick with the fabrics sent.  Below is an inspiration mosaic of wonky stars.
