I did take this picture before adding my name to the block so it really is on there!

The cool thing about this picture of Shannon's block is that it gives a sneak peek of things to come for Group A.

Your fabric is now in the mail and should arrive in the next couple of days 

(in most cases - Carolyn, yours probably takes a bit longer, I'm guessing).

I'm going to schedule a post for Saturday with more details for you as I will be out of town.

Group A~From Linda to Shannon

Well I posted about this on the wrong blog so I thought I better add it to the right blog. I received my first block, from Linda. I love it. I can't wait to get them all back. I know that some of you have mention that you wish the colors I sent had more contrast and now looking at things I do to, a little. I do ave plans for these monochromatic blocks. I love rainbows! So that is a hint. LOL! Thank you Linda I love it but you forgot to sign it. That is ok. I will do it for you. For you others that have my block if you forget to sign the block that is ok!

Group B August Blocks

I received my lovely block from Robyn last week - thanks, Robyn!



So unless I have misplaced one or more, I have received 7 of the 11 blocks. Unfortunately, my bookkeeping is miserable, so I'm not sure I know exactly which block was sent by whom. I think the lineup is as follows:

top row, left to right: Robyn, Charlene, Linda
middle row, left to right: Lana, Toni, Melissa
bottom row: (I can't remember! I think either Jorie or Jadie, but maybe Tamera? Help!)


Please let me know if I've botched assigning credit where credit is due (and that Stamp Out Unsewing block at the bottom), and if I've not yet received your block, no worries, I'm headed out of the country until October 8, but I would like to start assembling the quilt upon my return, if you are able to get it to me by then.

Group A - August blocks recieved help!

Hey everyone!  I have a problem.  I wrote down and took pictures of who sent me what blocks from August into a file.  I have recieved 9.  When I went back to school August 17 things got a little confused and I have lost deleted misplaced my list /pics file.  I really thought I had put them in my swap scrap book.  Please let me know which block you sent.  A couple I am sure of because of blogs/posts.  Just put row # (top to bottom)( block # right to left).  Thanks!  BTW does this forgetful thing get worse in your late forties?  Or is it just me.

Just darting in for a quick post ...

I enjoyed making both of these...I loved the fabrics

and I loved the great instructions...
Charlene, for some reason, I just -didn't -couldn't -they wouldn't- no way hosea...would those darts line up exactly.
Mark mine for embellishment...  :(

Packages Finally Mailed Out~Group A

Do you remember these? Yup, they are my fabric bundles waiting to be mailed out to you. Well guess what?! There were finally turned into this:

And now they are on their way to you!!! I know exciting right?! I was able to get them mailed off on Wednesday. They should be to you soon. With the OK from our fearless leader I am extending you deadline to have these back to my by October 7th. That gives you close to the same amount of time to get them back to me. I can't wait to see all of your work. If you have any questions you can email me. Thank you for being patient with me.
