Sneak Peak!

So my Mom, Jadie, doesn't have a blog, so I am posting a sneak peak of her block for Linda. We had fun racking our brains on what to do with it (I know its supposed to be her making it, but we do a lot of things together!) She (and I) hope you like it Linda! (ps she mailed it out today, so you should be getting it soon!)

Envelopes In The Mail

Friday I spent the morning getting ready for our my month's assignment for both groups, A & B - January!

This is the selection of fabric I worked with.  It is Amelia's Garden for Benartex.

Then I made 22 stacks of the cut fabric.  Now don't panic.  I am the only one that is a member of both groups so that is why I have 22 stacks.  The rest of you will only be dealing with 11 when your month comes up.

And here are the envelopes waiting for the mailman to pick them up this morning. (I blurred the addresses for privacy).  So you all should be receiving your packages of fabric some time soon.  And to give you a little time to think, I'm letting you select the block you want to make with the fabric I have sent you.  The only requirement is that the block be a 12" block (it will measure 12 1/2" edge to edge for you newer quilters).

I'm not exactly sure if these will all reach their desinations before Christmas but hopefully you should all have them by the New Year!

After you have made your block you can either post a picture here when you send it off or you can wait and let is be a surprise for me and then I will post a picture of it.  Either way, I can't wait to see what you will be creating for me!
