OK, guys! This is my first bee and I have to tell you, it took all I had to cut into that fabric! How nerve wracking! But here it is ready for Mr. Postman!
Melissa, this is my first bee, too, and I was a wreck, too! Sure I was going to mess up and then have to go shopping to find more fabric. Certain that she wasn't going to like my block and that the one place where the points don't exactly match was going to be a glaring unforgiveable mess to her. Oh, my imagination ran wild! But now that it is in the mail, I'm feeling much more confident. Well, at least until next month's fabric arrives...
Melissa it looks great. All we can do is our best. I was worried also when I did mine yesterday. I just pretended it was my block I was making and everthing went fine. By the time we hit July we will all be laughing about this first block.
It's my first online bee too and I'm nervous...you all are doing so well and I know I can't put it off too much longer. Maybe this weekend my block will get done!
Hi Ladies, I thought I was the only one worried to cut the fabric. LOL ( I guess not) I actually made the block with some of my fabrics first to make sure it would turn out nice. I'm sure I will get better after the next block. Happy sewing, happy quilting Marta

I know that feeling well - I get it every time I send of a swap block. What I can see looks great!! I can't wait to see the entire block!!
I'm having the same trouble. Doing that initial cut is hard. I think I can I think I can.
